Weronika Szymańska

Weronika Szymańska - a graduate of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Toruń, defended her diploma with honors in 2023 in the studio of easel painting under the guidance of Professor Anna Wysocka and in the studio of artistic glass directed by Professor Andrzej Kałucki.

In her painting work, she explores the boundaries of matter, reaching for diverse textures and techniques. Her works, rooted in the trend of expressive painting, address themes of identity, the wildness of nature, and human psychology. The diploma cycle AURONY and DE-FORMA (2023), presented at the Contemporary Art Center in Toruń, combines painting with her own poetry, creating a coherent artistic statement.

She is a laureate of the Borysowski Award for outstanding achievements in the field of painting. She actively participated in the artistic life of the university as the chairperson of the painting club (2018-2021), organizing numerous group exhibitions.

She experiments with texture and painting materials, combining traditional craftsmanship with innovative formal explorations, drawing inspiration from archetypes and wild nature – where earth meets sky, and instinct meets spirituality. Weronika brings to the space of Felix Gallery a feminine energy of joyful creativity and the grounding power of art that connects heaven with earth.
